Are you a professional communicator wanting to learn techniques to improve video content produced in-house? We’re offering a one-day course to up-skill, mentor and share some of our production knowledge.

If you need to produce video content for your marketing and social media channels but lack the budget to engage a production company or if you’re already producing basic video content in-house and would like to learn some skills to give your work a more professional look, this course may be of interest. Rollingball Productions has developed a one-day course to give amateur video producers some guidance and techniques to improve the standard of video production. We will teach you how to set-up and frame a shot, make your content more engaging and give you some helpful tips on the editing process and more. Content is king in the modern world and we realise there’s not always enough budget to partner with professionals, so we’d like to support you in making your screen production as good as it can be and also have some fun while we do it.

The workshop will include both theory and practical exercises, and each session will be tailored to attendees’ requirements and skill level. Producer April Howard and Camera Operator/Editor Andy Grieve will run the workshops, along with Director Brad Allen and Stylist Lainey Donnelly.  One of the tutors will contact each attendee prior to commencement to find out what they’d like to gain from the session, which equipment (if any) is currently being used, and their skill level.

Numbers will be capped to ensure enough time and attention is allocated to everyone who attends.

Lunch and the parking fee at Civic West Parking Station is included.

What to bring: your current video equipment – Smartphone or digital camera.

We can run separate group bookings, the best way to get in touch is via email – or call the office on 02 4927 8985.

Group bookings 8 – 10.
