We recently completed a project that indulged our passion for food and the environment. Hunter Councils (funded by the Environmental Protection Authority) approached Rollingball to create a series of films in support the Love Food Hate Waste program for use in Hunter TAFE classrooms. The focus of the program is to improve knowledge and awareness of the economic and environmental impacts of wasting food and encourage businesses to adopt simple and practical actions to avoid food waste. Rollingball created three assets featuring successful case studies from The Hunter region. Award-winning Muse Restaurant and Café, Pokolbin, have adopted an outstanding approach to food wastage in the kitchen, illustrating the environmental and economic benefits. See their journey here.
The client loved the packages.
“I’ve just finished reviewing the videos and they are excellent. The simplicity of the spoken messages as well as the pop up messages should make it really easy for students to understand how they can avoid wasting food. Also by combining the recipes with the environmental and waste avoidance messages, it makes the videos very appealing to the target audience. It is also excellent that you have covered all aspects of food waste avoidance, which should show that there are many things businesses can do to avoid wasting food.”
